Robert and I were doing Yoga tonight and Asher decided to join in. This is seriously the cutest thing he has done yet and he really challenged himself physically. After seeing his skills, Robert and I decided to do family yoga more often.

breaking out the emergency chocolate…
So, I told you in the beginning that this is a blog dedicated to my triumphs and struggles as a stay-at-home mom. Any mom or dad can sympathize with a day full of struggles. Sometimes it’s my attitude that creates the bad day…after all, the boys are being the same rambunctious boys that they always are and I’m just too exhausted to keep up. Other days it’s obvious that they are trying to break me, unintentionally of course. Today is one of those days. Any trip to the doctor’s office with two active boys is a struggle. There’s always a wait for the doctor and I always underestimate the amount of distractions I should bring. This week I was blessed with 2 trips. It just so happened that Asher’s 18 month and JR’s 4 year landed on the same week. In addition to that, JR is battling with bronchitis (not contagious) and Asher is teething. That creates 2 cranky kids. Both of the kids weren’t up for school work…any form of works brought out fighting and tears. Learning should be fun at this age so I didn’t press it. Here’s to mandatory nap time for the kids and chocolate for mom…and may be tomorrow will be a better day. :)
p.s. I can only imagine what is going through Robert’s head as he reads this. He just might decide to work late today. :)
